Coney Island<\/a> is a cultural landmark, and one of the last bastions of true freakishness in the United States. Please do what you can to keep it from being bulldozed, sanitized, and turned into a fucking strip mall.<\/p>\n

My family hails from Sheepshead Bay, so this holds special significance for me. <\/p>\n
