You Have Everything You Need

I had a weird moment on the way home from Yo Gabba Gabba on Friday. We were driving home through Echo Park, and we passed a home-printed artsy handbill that was plastered to the side of a pole. There was a picture of a bear’s head in the middle of it, and the text surrounding it read, “You Have Everything You Need”. I know this sounds silly, but it really impacted me. I looked over at my wonderful husband, and I listened to my daughter sing in the back seat. I thought about my family and my friends, and I thought about.. well, I guess I thought about me for a moment. I have my loved ones, and I have me. Whatever may come, I have what matters. I have everything I need.
