Today, the Supreme Court ruled that ripping Habeas Corpus rights from detainees at Gitmo was unconstitutional.

Its shocking to me that today’s Boumediene v. Bush decision only won 5-4. While this is a victory of sorts, it still saddens me. Scalia, of course, is the prime pig in the bunch: “… (the) nation will live to regret what the court has done today”.

No, sir, there are many things I will live to regret about the past eight years. This isn’t one of them.
