John Carter https://www.nonomnismoriar.org/?p=2620 https://www.nonomnismoriar.org/?p=2620#respond Sat, 10 Mar 2012 04:56:11 +0000 http://www.nonomnismoriar.org/?p=2620

Randomness:
I dunno. I sorta loved John Carter. It wasn’t a flawless interpretation of A Princess of Mars, but it was hella fun anyway. I laughed a great deal more than I expected to, which was nice. I cried a little, too, but I *always* cry during movies.

Also, Caesar and Marc Antony! WHAT. I totally need to rewatch Rome now.

If I see one more reviewer say that John Carter is derivative of Star Wars or Avatar or Indiana Jones or whatfuckingever, I’m going to find a way to fly out to each of them and beat them solidly about the ears with every single book in the Barsoom series.
